Global Solidarity

As a state representative, I would have relatively little influence on international affairs, but I think it's important to express solidarity whenever possible. Cooperation and diplomacy are essential, especially as we fight the global climate crisis. I firmly believe in internationalism and advocating for peace and liberation for all global communities. We must bring attention to our worst humanitarian failings–such as the death and suffering currently happening in Palestine, Sudan, and Congo– and we must call out those who intentionally inflict this suffering, break international law, and profit from military conflict.
